in the view to becoming a bus driver or vehicle
mechanic.

Free training is provided up to a Heavy Rigid
Vehicle Licence.
The following is a summary of the excellent
conditions offered to Swan Transit drivers:
• Guaranteed pay rises every six months.
• Option of full time, part time or casual
work available.
• 5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading.
• Option to convert overtime to extra
5 weeks of annual leave.
• 38 hour week with guaranteed 40 hr weekly
average for full-time drivers.
• Shifts rostered Monday - Friday with
weekends as overtime.
• 10 days paid sick leave per year accumulative.

Training
At Swan Transit we operate our own fully equipped
training section located at our Welshpool Depot.
As well as providing all aspects of driver training
for both new and existing employees, we also
arrange training in speciality training for
our mechanical and managerial employees. The
training section also undertakes regular assessments
of our existing employees driving performance
to ensure that our high standards are maintained.
